The Izzy Lane cashmere collection uses only the highest quality cashmere from the small herds of British goats, many of which live at the foot of the Cairngorm mountains. The breeders adhere to very high standards of animal welfare and lovingly care for their animals.

Our cashmere is soft and luxurious and can be worn directly against the skin. The fibre is gently combed from the fine undercoat of the goat in late spring. Each animal produces around 100g of cashmere each year so it takes 2-3 goats for one garment. The annual yield from British goats amounts to no more than 100 kilos.
